ELASTOSIL R490/55 is a phenyl silicone rubber (PMVQ) and was developed for the manufacturing of articles with good low temperature flexibility.



Features :
- Hardness : 50 - 53 Shore A
- Tensile strength : 11 N/mm²
- Elongation at break : 500 - 520 %
- Tear strength : 30 - 33 N/mm



Application :
ELASTOSIL R490/55 is suitable both for extrusion of tubes and profiles and for compression, transfer and injection molding
The vulcanizates maintain flexibility to temperatures even lower than -100 °C.
